Searching for Matsube

Surfer Jimmy Yoshio Shibata and his family moved away from Japan due to the Fukushima nuclear disaster in 2011. Having relatives and a background in Sweden, he decided to settle in coastal town of Härnösand in the countrys northern parts.

"In this short documentary we get to follow Jimmy in his quest of finding a new Matsube, his favourite wave from Japan, in the baltic sea."

Erik Nylander & Emil Wesolowski

and for info we have an interview with Jimmy in the upcoming issue of NSM! coming soon...
