The Oaken Yarn

The Oaken Yarn is James Aiken s life aboard a 33 foot yacht in the North Atlantic. The vessel is a platform to explore remote and unlikely people, places and perspectives.

This is the first in a series of films that will accompany the journey and documents my single handed journey from Cornwall to the Hebrides in 2016.
