LANDLOCKED - A journey to the heart of Swiss surfing
It was sometime during the first lockdown in March 2020 that we came up with the crazy idea for Landlocked. It must have had something to do with the syllable shared by the two words. Locked in, with just one wish, to be outside. Surrounded by mountains, but still able to surf, or something close to it… Anyway, you get the idea.
New Life Surfing is a Danish Initiative that strives to collect skate and surfboards for children around the world. Thanks to many generous Danish surfers, the very first action of New Life Surfing took place last spring in El Paradon, a small fishing village in Guatemala.
The Plastic Project is entering its fifth year and is going from strength to strength. After spending ten years working on a surf magazine as well as being a freelance surf photographer, Tim Nunn came to a decision. He could no longer keep going to some of the remotest coastlines of the world without speaking out about the catastrophic pollution that was affecting them.
