NSM: How are you guys? And where are you right now?
Joakim: Hi, we are fine, just came back from Ericeira, 2 days home and then we go to Danmark for a O’Neill comp.

NSM: Ok, and from there you will both go to Scotland for the O’Neill coldwater classic?
Joakim: Yep that is correct!

NSM: You’re quite used with cold water, isn’t it? You’ve been surfing a lot in Norway. How often are you in Scandinavia and what’s your connection with Norway?
Joakim: Yeah well..Been a couple of times to Stavanger to surf... We were born in Oslo and have some family in Norway, so we go there 2 or 3 times a year...

NSM: Stavanger seems to be one of the most consistent spot in the all Scandinavia.
Joakim: Well the times that we went there, theres always been some surf, so i guess its pretty consistent. We like it a lot! We know some people there, very nice and friendly! In a way we feel like home!

NSM: Is there more competition or trip in your schedule this year?
Joakim: Yep, Around Europe, starts in Danmark-scotland-Vendee-Newquay-Azores-Lacanau-Pantin-Zarautz-Figueira da foz and Canary islands... And maybe some trips in between..!

NSM: Are you always surfing together?
Joakim: Yep,unless one of us is sick or something...

NSM: Which one is best at the moment?
Joakim: That’s a typical question, you can´t choose one over another depending on one day of surfing or a week... I guess its always swittching day to day!
